UniHouse provided specialized HSE training and consultancy on global safety standards to enhance workplace safety and compliance for Shimizu Corporation’s JICA-funded construction projects in Africa. Key contributions included:


  • HSE Curriculum Development & Implementation: Designed a structured training program on scaffolding safety, fall prevention, and electrical hazard management, ensuring a safety-first culture across project sites.
  • Consultancy on Global Safety Standards: Provided technical guidance on OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards), ensuring project compliance with international best practices.
  • Workforce Upskilling & Risk Mitigation: Trained over 50 site workers and supervisors, leading to a 45% reduction in workplace injuries and improved operational safety.
  • On-Site Safety Audits & Compliance Assessments: Conducted safety inspections and risk assessments, reinforcing Shimizu Corporation’s commitment to high HSE standards.
  • Global Reputation Enhancement: Strengthened Shimizu Corporation’s international standing by implementing world-class HSE policies, improving productivity and reducing liability risks.
