UniHouse Global Press

A localised approach to training materials that delivers better learning outcomes.

As a global leader in training and development, we’ve implemented training programmes for different organisations across the world.

Most international businesses and organisations we work with understand the importance of quality training materials, coursebooks and guides to help their staff achieve the best learning outcomes.

Yet when we audited the training materials they had been working with, we found some common issues:

  1. Generic content designed for the global market.
  2. Content that doesn’t consider the needs of local markets or cultural sensitivities.
  3. Lack of locally relevant case studies and examples.
  4. Written using over-complicated English language that isn’t suitable for international students with limited English proficiency.
  5. No online or face-to-face support or feedback loops on the content.

These issues with legacy training materials can lead to employees being unprepared for work-related challenges, and can have a negative impact on performance and career progression.

Once we understood the common challenges with standard international course material, we knew we needed to improve it.

UniHouse Global Press (UGP) improves the learning process with clear, authoritative, locally relevant content

All content and course materials published by UniHouse Global Press follow a process that involves four critical stages. Each stage of the content creation process is equally important.

In-depth local needs analysis

The first step in creating effective training material is to understand the needs of your audience. Our team of researchers connects with students and educators in the area of study. They get an in-depth understanding of where the shortcomings are in existing training material, and the gaps that need to be addressed to further the end-learner’s career.

Our Pilot Programme: HIGHWAY for Healthcare

In 2022 , we launched our pilot programme in Turkey.

After more than 14,000 dedicated hours of development time and the valuable input of over 35 different experts, we were able to give working doctors, nurses, and medical students the training they needed.

HIGHWAY for Healthcare provides training for working doctors, nurses, and medical students. It provides healthcare professionals with the skills and confidence they need to overcome career challenges and excel in their careers.

We are proud to have secured a strategic affiliation with Pearson, who are the certification partner for all HIGHWAY for Healthcare programmes.

We also have live seminars online that allow students to interact with their peers and instructors.

After completing the HIGHWAY for Healthcare course, graduates are issued a certificate of completion following the results of a final exam.
