About Us
UniHouse started in 1999, with a set of clear objectives for our training, education and career development programmes:

Over the last two decades our team of instructors, authors, educational psychologists, counsellors, curriculum developers and technologists have achieved this by:
- Developing and delivering training programmes for some of the world’s largest energy companies.
- Partnering with some of the UK’s most established universities.
- Managing over 1400 successful scholarships.
- Coaching over 20,000 students to develop their English language skills, and complete English language tests to further their career.
- Launching our own publishing house (UniHouse Global Press) which specifically addresses shortcomings in traditional educational materials and delivers better learning outcomes through the localisation of content.
- Develope four skills English language level test
But despite our success, we’ve always stayed grounded and mindful of our original mission.

Chartered Financial Officer and MSc holder of banking and finance academic degree. Experienced CFO with more than 25 years working in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Managed large accounts enterprises of UniHouse and built top-notch accounting and finance teams. Specific experience in education and learning progrmms financial predictions, and operations. Editor of works published by Harvard Business Review Press, Cambridge University Press, MIT Verlag, and Springer, among others. Holds a master’s degree in teaching English as a foreign language. Has taught both teenagers and adults and trained teachers in a variety of contexts. Longtime resident of Turkey.

English Language educator with over 10 years of experience in the field in a range of roles from teaching, teacher training, curriculum and materials design, and assessment. A co-author of three English language coursebook series. Alex holds a Master’s in Adult Learning from Linköping University, a CELTA, and is Cambridge certified teacher trainer.

Melanie works with publishers and businesses across a wide range of fields, providing an expert extra pair of eyes to ensure content communicates messages clearly and accurately.

Our localised programmes in Turkey are centred around helping Healthcare professionals and English language teachers develop their careers, so they can operate at established international standards.

Having worked in the career development industry for many years, our team of authors, educational psychologists and instructors became frustrated at how many international educational programmes and publications just weren’t relatable for a Turkish audience.
So, we decided to create our own tailored programmes that are locally relevant, culturally sensitive and designed to deliver better learning outcomes.
Our HIGHWAY for Healthcare programme is certified by Pearson and is aligned with the international healthcare framework. It has been developed by internationally recognised professionals to help doctors, nurses and medical science students develop their careers.
We’ve also developed a teacher training programme, which is also certified by Pearson.
GET TESOL (Global English Teacher - Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) equips English teachers with the knowledge, practice, and teaching skills they need to excel in the English language training industry, wherever they are in the world.
